Summary of question
I have recently converted to Shiism and I would like to know whether my prayers and marriage which have been conducted in accordance with the rules of Sunni school of jurisprudence are valid or not.

I am a recent convert to Shia Islam from Sunni Islam. My question is, is my marriage and prayers from when I was Sunni still valid, even though they contradict Jafari fiqh?
Concise answer
If you performed them correctly then according to your own religion, your previous deeds are in order and it is not necessary to repeat them and your marriage is also in order.

If you performed them correctly according to your own religion, your previous deeds are in order and it is not necessary to repeat them or do them again.
Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi (may Allah grant him long life):
In the said case, your previous deeds are valid.
Grand Ayatollah Noori Hamedani (may Allah grant him long life):
There is no qadha for the prayers which have been offered according to rules of the previous religion.
Grand Ayatollah Saafi Gulpaigani (may Allah grant him long life):
If you performed them correctly according to your own religion, your previous deeds are in order and there would be no problem in them.
